Marc Apple, Founder & Partner of Forward Push Law Firm Marketing

Introduction

His career brings together decades of experience in media, marketing, business development, and entrepreneurial leadership.

Across that work, one theme has remained consistent: helping people and businesses with real expertise become easier to find, easier to trust, and harder to ignore.

Background

Before building Forward Push, Marc held senior marketing leadership roles at CBS Radio and Clear Channel. Those roles gave him direct exposure to audience behavior, messaging, media performance, and the relationship between attention and results.

He later founded a startup in San Francisco designed to help creative professionals present and market their work more effectively. Although the category was different, the underlying challenge was familiar: talented people often struggle when their value is not being communicated clearly to the people who need it.

When Marc turned his attention to the legal industry, he recognized the same pattern. Many attorneys with strong credentials and real reputations were being represented online through disconnected marketing, generic messaging, and weak digital positioning. Forward Push was created in response to that gap.

What he built

Marc built Forward Push Law Firm Marketing as a company focused exclusively on law firms.

That exclusive focus matters because consumer-facing legal marketing has its own dynamics, including client psychology, intake realities, referral patterns, competitive pressure, and trust-based decision-making. Rather than treating law as just another industry vertical, Forward Push was built around the realities of how law firms actually compete and grow.

Under Marc's leadership, the company has expanded its work across legal marketing strategy, search visibility, content, paid media, intake support, reputation, brand positioning, and AI-enabled systems for law firms.

That work also includes technology and product development through initiatives such as Counsel Twin AI, First Chair AI, Sidebar AI, and Engage First.

Strong marketing should make expertise more visible, credibility easier to recognize, and trust easier to build.

How Marc thinks

Marc's perspective is practical and direct: strong marketing should make expertise more visible, credibility easier to recognize, and trust easier to build.

His work reflects a continuing focus on how communication is changing, especially as AI, search, media, and online reputation become more closely connected. He is particularly interested in modern communication, attention, and message-market fit — and that interest informs both his strategic work and his daily routines.
